Conference “Effective Procurement and Supply 2020. New Reality”: What Experts Emphasize

AGELESS participates in the international online conference «Effective procurement and supply chain 2020. A new reality». AGELESS and vendor SAP Ukraine are general partners of the event, which takes place on October 20-22.

The event is organized by IPSM consulting company, which specializes in optimizing costs in procurement and establishing improving supply chains.

On the first day of the conference, he took part in the discussion «Problems faced by supply chain professionals in tech».

BUSINESS AUTOMATIONIS THE KEY TO SUCCESSFUL WORK IN TIMES OF CHALLENGE

Establishing business processes and working in new conditions is leading topic and it passes a red thread through the entire conference. Experts are unanimous: process automation helps to successfully overcome the challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the same time, the company should clearly understand why it needs process automation. This topic was covered by Iryna Povoroznik (Russia), Director of the Program for Improving the Efficiency of Business Processes S/4HANA, ex-CPO of the Severstal Group of Companies in the report «Pitfalls of Procurement Transformation. Case study».

Ms. Iryna is involved in a transformational project to optimize the company’s operational processes within the framework of the migration project from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANANo doubt, the use of new improved solution will help solve a number of vital issues of the company.

According to the expert, for successful transformation it is necessary to define «big goals», to understand «why changes are needed?». Among them:
