SAP S/4HANA for INTERTOP: the Leader of Fashion Retail Implemented ERP Together with AGELESS

AGELESS has completed the implementation of the project SAP S/4HANA for INTERTOP Ukraine. No challenges in 2020 prevented the new system from being launched productively in less than 10 months. During the project, many technologies and solutions were implemented in Ukraine for the first time.

Successful implementation was due to the coordinated and clear work of both parties, which in the midst of implementation were forced to move completely to remote work.


The project for INTERTOP became the first full cycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA in fashion retail industry in Ukraine.

“Even at the stage of negotiations, it was obvious to us that INTERTOP has a great desire to join the best world practices and the correct organization of processes in the company. Our experience in retail and the innovative SAP S/4HANA solution have become the foundation, thanks to which INTERTOP has planned a new stage of development not only in Ukraine, but also abroad”, – commented AGELESS’s CEO Yuriy Kurlyanchyk.

Leading tricks and features of implementation:

  • A specialized solution for the retail industry – SAP CAR allows you to collect data from POS-terminals, analyze sales and is the basis for further forecasting analytics.
  • Developed functionality for VAT accounting, which is used for wholesale and retail sales, as well as online sales based on SAP S/4HANA. This module is not «out of the box», but all retailers need it.
  • Integration of INTERTOP IT solutions for warehousing, store management, loyalty systems, etc. with S/4HANA. The AGELESS team of consultants developed universal integration objects, which connected all the necessary systems into a single information landscape via an integration middleware.
  • The entire cycle of online sales is implemented in SAP S/4HANA.

The second half of the project was the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine. This forced both teams to work in special conditions, when key processes had to be configured online.

It was the competent transition to online process management that made possible to launch the productive start on time. Now we had experienced, that even complex projects can be implemented remotely, with minimal onsite participation”, said the CEO of AGELESS.

This result was made possible by the step-by-step development strategy of INTERTOP, which selected innovative SAP solutions and involved a partner with deep industry expertise. AGELESS has more than 20 completed projects in retail for leaders of national and international markets.

In fact, the AGELESS team did three projects in one project:

  • Implementation of SAP S/4HANA and SAP CAR.
  • Integration of SAP S/4HANA and online store.
  • SAP S/4HANA as a single interface integration point for all areas and processes (Megashop, warehouse, online store, etc.).

“In total, we have integrated about 50 interfaces into SAP S/4HANA. The SAP system allows you to process several thousand online orders per day. We are satisfied with the result of joint work with INTERTOP Ukraine and believe that the company will achieve the planned goals. Separately emphasize that without the strong architect and IT team on the customer’s side, it would be difficult to implement everything planned in such short time in terms of implementation of IT projects”, – recapped Marina Savchina.
